As an estimator I was responsible for putting bids together for jobs that were in the bid process using MIKE and FastWRAP software along with physical blueprints as well as going to job locations and doing a physical take-off, putting the quote together in the field. I also would do custom estimates and tailor the proposal to what the customer requested. Would also provide value engineering proposals when possible. Would contact contractors’ post bid to not only get feedback but to develop or maintain the customer relationship. Responsible for project setup on awarded jobs while monitoring progress, cost and other factors of jobs leading to final punch list and project closeout.
