Campus renovation project consisted of two new main distribution frames for Telco Room and Data Center, 32 intermediate distribution frames. Supervised the installation of a 4,000 line plus Avaya G8XX Series VOIP Media Gateway system. Supervised two Union low-voltage cabling contractors, two Union high voltage electrical contractors and two Audio Visual Contractors. ●Cable plant design and systems planning for a new 255 room Court Yard Marriot Hotel located in NYC. Designed Computer room layout and all associated intermediate distribution frames. ●Project managed the installation of an IBM AS400 high availability disaster recovery center. Developed and wrote all associated requests for proposals for all hardware and software. Responsible for all aspects of testing and implementation. Implemented all WAN services, DS-3 service between the source and target AS400 systems and Cisco Routers and Frame Relay components for connectivity to all international offices.

●Responsible for all day to day operations to support a 24-hour a day, 6 days a week global Futures and Options clearing center utilizing GMI Software. Supporting IBM 320 and F97 AS/400 systems.

Responsible for all voice and data communications for 5 North American offices and international data center in Chicago ILL. Managed a staff of five.

●Project managed and supervised the installation of a 50 position Etrali trading system and all associated market data equipment in the Chicago branch office.

●Selected and implemented a wide area network for US offices using Bay Networks AN and ASN routers and MCI frame relay services

●Selected and project managed the installation of a Northern Telecom Option 61 PBX system in the New York office.

●Reduced annual operating expenses by $200,000 by consolidating long distance services and trader private lines without compromising functionality.

●Project managed and supervised the US portion of a 15 node, Time Division Multiplexing international voice and data network which consisted of three NET IDNX multiplexer nodes in the US and 13 internationally.

●Network consolidation 1988 - 1991, engineered and supervised all aspects of relocation and installation of three Mitel SX2000SG PBXs over 2000 lines.

●Project engineer and manager of the installation of a 7 node AT&T System 740 and 745 Multiplexer digital voice and data network by converting from a 232/V.24 9.6 KBPS analog standard to a V.35 56 KBPS digital standard. This increased order processing productivity eliminated retarded response time resulted in $50,000 annual cost savings.

●Conducted analysis of local Telephone Company operating charges resulting in refunds of approximately $175,000 for 1989 and 1990.

●Conducted audit of all c.o. lines, including foreign exchange lines, Tie lines, off-premises extensions and leased modem lines resulting in the elimination of unnecessary leased lines, which resulted in a cost saving of over $80,000/year.
