Accountable for structural and civil aspects of one million square foot addition to large scale industrial site. Safely directed thousands of yards of concrete and over 14 million pounds of steel in the tissue building alone. Managed and directed seventeen subcontractors working on this project.
Responsibilities:
Supervise the machine track, excavating, pile driving, rebar forming inspections, and the placing of the concrete. Backfill and compacting to specs.
Inspected anchor bolts for right elevation and bolt pattern.
Setting of sole plates and having focus confirm.
Reviewed and approved monthly billing for contractors.
Attended weekly meetings with contractors regarding scheduling needs, progress on project and addressed any issues/concerns.
Coordinated and scheduled early morning concrete pours.
Worked closely with third part inspectors.

New Gas Boiler Project was located in the Radford Army Ammunitions Facility. I coordinated schediling, quality of work, and assisted in contract/bid review for sub-contractors selection through project completion. Overseen concrete placement and rebar and backfilling. Responsible for overseeing and managing all sub-contractors and the execution during the issuing, receiving and installation of equipment and piping. Held morning meetings daily and resolved any scheduling conflicts to prevent possible delays as well as quality of work on all sub- contractors.
Ensuring safety and quality are first in all activities as well as keeping up to date on all training as needed per our safety programs.
Requested estimates from different contractors for work needed that was not captured in contracts. Oversee process to manage the work sites. Worked closely with BAE on scheduling needs and completed project and punch lists. Superintendent
