• Operate high speed stamping press and product winders as necessary for production, inspecting production produced to detect any quality defects present. Was promoted to dept lead in daily department and conducted and knew all functions of a set-up operator including but not limited to the following: Position raw materials in and by stamping presses by identifying the correct materials required by the manufacturing orders.

• Inspect product being produced by using diagrams, blueprints, and check sheets.

• Working knowledge of inspection and measuring equipment.

• Assist other operators in stamping procedures and machine operation.

• Support their shift team with questions on quality and processes.

• Ability to make decisions concerning quality and machine operation.

• Contain suspect parts and write containments for defective parts and failed validations.

• Able to re-measure parts for out-of-control parts on SPC and verify completed containments.

• Understand and follow the 5S procedures

• Inspect completed lots and designate acceptance

• Update stamping boards for real time production, finish dates, priorities and maintenance information following the Priority Process Flow instructions.

>Operator

The operator is responsible for presses. He installs tools and

makes accurate adjustments respecting quality and security

requirements, and in the expected timeframe.

Additionally, he carries out preventive and curative

maintenance, and he controls the quality of the products.

> Tool Maintener

This mechanics expert ensures preventive and corrective

maintenance of tools. He works according to production

planning, quality and security requirements, and in the

expected timeframe.

When a machine breaks down, he analyses the problem.
