Built a text analytics machine learning model, on a dataset of text articles (of size 12K records) sourced in from university databases & public listed companies. Annotated the dataset with labels describing the content of articles like, ethics, product etc., and extracted training & testing datasets (80:20). Built a ML model using linear regression, random forest, decision trees, XGBoost etc., to predict the content of a given article with a 90% accuracy rate. Visualized and studied correlations between the variables and quantified the importance of each feature (5+ features) with values.

Software Development Engineer Intern, T-Hub, Hyderabad, India May – Jul 2017

Built a dynamic web application on Oracle Apex, to evaluate the registration requests submitted by 5K+ startups, for an administration panel to review, approve or decline the funding requests. SQL Database Design & Regression Analysis, Georgia State University, Atlanta, GA Nov – Dec 2021

Extracted data, of 4 financial quarters for S&P 500 companies, via web scraping on Estimize.com. Normalized it (3NF), designed ER diagrams, schemas, and modelled database in SQL for efficient search queries with indexes. On the built dataset (of 100K records), did logistic regression to predict a company’s Earnings Per Share estimate score with 95.3% accuracy viz-a-viz NYSE.

HR Analytics, Georgia State University, Atlanta, GA Nov – Dec 2021

Extracted an open-source dataset (of 33K+ records) on employee details and normalized it (3NF). Built a predictive model, using python libraries like pandas, NumPy, scikitlearn etc., to predict the probability that an employee continues in the current company or changes into another, with an accuracy of 92%, thereby optimizing the cost of employee training by 30%.

Did correlation analysis and visualizations, interpreting the feature importance of variables leading to the decision.
