WORK PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

1. Project consists of collaboration of CARE HOSPITAL with ANDHRA UNIVERSITY and assigned me project in this area (Nuclear Medicine project) for three months. 2. I have done three months training program in DEV INSTITUTE OF NUCLEAR MEDICINE under Dr. A. K. Das in PATNA, & Anindo Roy (technologist & RSO) to the department, which was conducted by ANMPI and University (14th March 2006 – 12th June) in which I have been good to handle in following area.

Nature of Work Handled

Handling Siemens single head Gamma camera, with some specific Q.C (thin layer chromatography).

Attending patients, preparing different radio-pharmaceuticals for different scans and learned to inject. 3. To my own academic, I have done 3 months internship/observation ship (05 Sept. 2007 – 02 Nov. 2007) in NIZAM’S INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES (NIMS), HYDERABAD under Dr. (Gp. Capt.) V.V.S. PRABHAKAR RAO

Nature of Work Handled

Here I have handled Siemens dual head & Orbital from Siemens.

Preparing different radio-pharmaceuticals for different scans and learned to inject them.

Also handled High & Low dose of liquid Radio-Iodine therapy. 4. I have joined to SHRI SIDDHIVINAYAK GANAPATHI CANCER HOSPITAL (SSVGCH) MIRAJ, done my job from 23rd MARCH 2008 – 31st JAN 2011as Technologist/RSO under Dr. Anshuman Agrawal & Dr. Amit Abhyankar.

Nature of Work Handled

Got very good exposure of handling of the elution part (Solvent Extraction Method), this process consists of mixing of Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK) with Molybdenum for extraction of Tc -99m.

I have handled Siemens SPX-6 & Infinia with Xeleris system.

Got very good opportunity at the time of instillation of Infinia-Gamma camera with various Q.C observations (internal & external).

Handled low dose radio – iodine treatment.

5. I have joined and worked here in CARE HOSPITALS, banjara hills, HYDERABAD as Technologist/RSO from 14th March 2011 – 13th Feb 2014, under Dr. N. Subrahmanyam. Nature of Work Handled

Elution of Tc-99m from well shielded generator used for various type of scan.

Now here dealing with Siemens dual head & handling all the procedures and as it is cardiac institute got good exposure of Stress Thallium test with processing (Tetraphosmine; Myoview).

Maintaining all records of Radiation safety; like radioactive waste disposals, radiation survey of the departments etc.

Got trained in NIMS again for high dose therapy through Institute and dealt with the maximum exposure with number of cases, of high – low dose.

Handled number of patients for high dose radio – iodine therapy and maintaining records of their discharge criteria. (dischargeable exposure level criteria)

Now can handle various Q.C procedures like uniformity (external & internal), PMT tunings etc. 6. I have worked with Vijaya Diagnostics Centre (V.D.C) – Himyatnagar, Hyderabad under Dr. Anuj Jain

& also handling PET pharmaceutical and also having exposure in it. I have worked in diagnostic centre from 17th March 2014 and got relieved from the job on 31st December 2014 and then joined Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital for short period (6 months). Nature of Work Handled

Handled number of patients and performed all the Nuclear Medicine regular procedures confidently on Infinia Hawkeye gamma camera.

Also had very good opportunity to handle patients of PET – CT with different protocols.

Managed myself very confidently PET pharmaceutical injections to the patients.

Handled low dose radio – iodine treatment.

7. I am currently attached the organization – CHOITHRAM HOSPITAL and RESEARCH CENTER at INDORE, under Dr. M. K. Soni. I have total experience of 12 years in this field. Nature of Work Handled

• Very good support in completion of my Certificate “A” in National Cadet Corps (NCC), which was held at Khammam in Aug – 1998.

• Stood second in Spoorthi competition which was conducted by Andhra Loyola College in Nov – 2003.

• Stood third in annual sports meet in 4 X 100 mts. (relay) which was conducted by Andhra Loyola College in year 2002 - 2003.
