ICE: Backend Java API development supporting I-9 processing, I-9 Audit and Close-Audit processing in Java 8, Spring environment using Keycloak. These were accessed through custom menu-driven Apis. Also assisted in migration from HBase to Cassandra. Stack included H2, Postgres, Elastic Search, HBase, Cassandra. Development tools included Intellij, Swagger, Git, Jira, Maven, Lombok and various other plugins and libraries. I-9 image parsing was executed through a Nifi process, the Nifi workflow initiated through Kafka polling, and utilized OpenCV libraries in custom-developed Java backend run from Groovy. NGA: Wrote a containerized Java 8 tutorial application on how to use government website. Developed Web Mapping Service (WMS) geographic web request filtering and authentication using Java 8, Python 3 decorator. Developed Spring Boot microservice class to encapsulate and test this functionality. This is configured as a plugin extension to Geoserver 2.16, running on Linux, Windows 10, EC2, and Docker.
