In response to the administrative student position I have enclosed my resume

for your review and consideration. When reviewing the position requirements, I was excited

to find that my qualifications and personal strengths align with your needs and mission.

Ideally, this opportunity will allow me to further contribute to the health care system by

supporting the management and improvement of the day to day operations. While

volunteering, interning, and working at hospitals and a medical office I gained an interest

and desire to continue helping individuals in an empathetic manner to reach their best

possible health outcomes.

By studying both Nursing and Health Management I gained extensive knowledge

and experience in the health field and along with the valuable information gained through

my program I had the opportunity to run all administrative duties for Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). From finding solutions to strategize and creatively

think of ways that would improve measures, to gaining support and offering better assistance

to members. Prior work experience includes working as a part-time medical office assistant,

where my duties involved relaying any information to patients, patient registration and

discharge, maintenance of patient records, data entry, scheduling appointments, as well as

helping to answer any questions that patients might have had. I further established a strong foundation in management and patient support by creating strategies such as organization

systems which included a more confidential and easier way to access client documents and

files. With this position, as well as prior experience being a student nurse in the healthcare

setting, I learned to communicate properly whether that meant understanding medical

terminologies and providing accurate work or quickly solving any problems with my

interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, while having a client focused outlook on

everything.

Moreover, by interning at Humber River Hospital as a clinical data analyst I had the opportunity to examine lists of vaccinated patients and identify any errors in reporting by

studying different systems and applying problem solving skills, pattern recognition, and data mining. This internship allowed me to familiarize myself with the systems and software’s

being used at Humber River Hospital such as COVax, Pomelo and enabled me to use my critical

thinking skills and attention to details in order to finish tasks in a qualified manner. Likewise,

the environment and mission that Humber River hospital presents which is helping people stay healthy and deliver high-quality care is very meaningful to me and I would love to be a part of

by leaving an impact while motivated to learn, grow and excel in a fast-paced environment.

My passion to improve care through a creative lens, along with my administrative

experience, and leadership skills that I developed within various settings, makes me a strong candidate for this position. I proved myself as a caring and responsible person who can be

depended on to manage multiple activities while ensuring the well-being of others. Combined,

the opportunity to apply my skills and gain professional experience as a clerical support

associate would be very important to me.
