PERSONAL STATEMENT:

One of my big loves in life is travelling. I love to experience different cultures and learn on each trip I take. Throughout my life I have lived in Ireland, France, Spain and Malta. My passion and hobby is cooking and most of my career choices have been in kitchens.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

April 2015- August 2019 Ma Nolans Nice and Cannes

Kitchen Chef – During my time here, I learned how to work in a fast paced environment with limited capacity. We had to work efficiently and use team work to ensure customers service and food quality was constantly at it’s finest.

July 2014 – October 2014 O’Malley’s Irish bar L’Estartit, Costa Brava

Head Chef – Running a small team, I not only had to take charge of the kitchen, I had to ensure staffing was correct, staff had the correct amount of hours and the kitchen was always fully covered for any occasions.

Head Chef – On top of the above, being a head chef means ensuring deliveries are correct and the restaurant is stocked for all meals, bar snacks and drink garnishes. Doing so, means coordinating with the bar staff and teams in other departments outside of the kitchen.

INTERESTS AND ACTIVITIES

As noted before, I am an avid sports fan and will watch a number of sports and partake usually in as many as I can as well (Football, Darts etc) As well as this, I love to cook and attempt different and more challenging recipes, cooking and catering for my friends and family. I enjoy playing host and regularly have dinner parties and cocktail nights.
