JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Preparation of Hydro Test and Visual Packages.

Preparation of weld summary sheet, DWR and NDT control etc.

Preparation of PMI reports.

Maintaining all NDE Reports.

Updating Isometric Drawings and P&ID as per construction request.

Calibration of welding Machines and related Inspection tools.

Inspection of welding consumable as per ASME SEC 2C.

Checking of Welding Machines, ovens & quivers calibration date.

Maintaining weld joints repair records.

Hydro test Package & NDE package preparation.

Attending meetings withconsultant / client, explain the site observations of production andprojectrequirementsandday-to-daymonitoring atsite.

Monitoring all activities starting from Fabrication up to Final Completion.

Daily and weekly Progress Report.

Monitor daily welding accomplishments.

Co-ordination with client for various QC activities.

Subcontractor’s prequalification, monitoring and control.

Coordinate with NDE contractor, interpretations of NDE tests and furnish reports.

Verify WPS parameters and requirements.

Perform DPT, MT.

Proper baking of electrodes maintaining the record of electrode issuance.

Knows the Essential variables about welder qualification.

DPT of Joint as per client specification.

Coordination with Construction Engineers/Site Supervisors/Sub Contractors/

Construction Team and Client inspectors on matters pertaining to quality control

inspection and testing.

Monitoring the welding consumables and preheating and inter pass temperature of

Welds.

Inspection as a Witness UT THICKNESS READING.

Preparing daily activity report, update material quality control log.

Knows the Essential variables about welder qualification.

Check that Proper temp. Was maintained as per filler material & after welding.

Fillers are not kept outside more than the exposure time.
