Experience

SAP America, Inc. Denver CO

GRADUATE INTERN May 2019 - PRESENT

• Taxonomy Research

– Focused on development of a standardized taxonomy for partner-oriented processes within the organization which enhanced partner experience and improved cross-functional synergy among partner support teams

– Implemented quantitative analysis of the study and performed data mining using Python to filter 99.7% of the data

– Used NLTK to perform semantic text clustering with 88% accuracy and generated results which were in line with insights derived from a qualitative study held in parallel, including recommendation of a first line of categorization

• Partner Ticket Intelligence

– Worked with an agile software engineering team to deliver machine learning intelligence for partner support workflows

– Machine learning model classified incoming support tickets from partners, allowing support agents to track and handle incoming tickets of their specialty, improving ticket resolution efficiency

Cisco Systems, Inc. Bangalore, India

UNDERGRADUATE INTERN January 2018 - June 2018

• Developed a dashboard agglomerating software feature tracking, release tracking and revenue impact

• Dashboard provided end-to-end visibility on both technical and business impact of each software release at both product and platform level to regional executive leadership

Projects

Dots & Boxes (Master’s thesis)

REINFORCEMENT LEARNING + PYTORCH

• Trained an agent toplaydots&boxes usingQ-learning (a reinforcement learning algorithm) via Python in a Jupyter notebook; against a random player and then against itself, with the ultimate objective being to ”solve” the game, i.e. agent having a 100% win rate

• Made use of various fully connected neural networks coded using PyTorch and improved performance of the agent against a random player

Gesture Recognition

TENSORFLOW + OPENCV + PYGAME

• Trained a machine learning model using a convolutional neural network to recognize hand gestures with TensorFlow, capturing training data/images using OpenCV

• Developed a 2D side-scroller game using PyGame and connected it to the gesture recognition program, such that performed gestures were recognized in real-time and servedas input to the game
