The majority of machines are designed in AutoCAD Electrical 2014, Solid Edge V4, with Rockwell Automation RSLogix 5000, FactoryTalk View Studio ME software, with servos and variable frequency drives. A recent Stolle Europe order of ten Ragsdale machines required all Siemens Safety PLC Controls, Electrical components, Profibus, ProfiNet, and only European procurable components.
Responsible for customer specification reviews, component selection and specification, panel design, cable design, generating Bills of Materials, Electrical Schematics, On-machine controls layouts, programming of the PLC, Safety PLC and the HMI.
Stolle Machinery is an OEM Manufacturer of can making equipment owned by the Toyo Seikan Company of Japan.
My personal product lines include the Ragsdale Bodymakers (wall ironing), Ragsdale standalone lubrication system, Rotary Light Testers both Halogen and Infrared, and the Crosshatch machine. The Crosshatch machine provides standalone surface grinding of the bodymaker precision punches used in the wall ironing process.
Additional product lines I have been assigned during my tenure include the Standun Bodymakers and the Multi-Station Inside Spray Machines (ISM).
As an Electrical Project Engineer my responsibilities are providing the complete Machine Control, Electrical and Safety Systems.
Responsible for all required Machine Safety functions and Risk Assessments.
Ensuring machines meet all current NEC, NFPA70E/79, UL, CSA, CE, ANSI, ISO and ICE standards.
Attended training in September 2014 for Machine Safety and the Sistema Risk Assessment system provided by Sick Inc.

Assigned as the lead electrical project engineer on a prototype Vertical Bodymaker (Vector) machine with twin stroke wall ironing punches. The machine was debuted at the European Pack Expo in May 2014.

Brought in as expert to analyze, troubleshoot, redesign, program, document and implement into operation a failed project in the automated manufacture of Professional Speaker Systems (Electro Voice).
Chinese manufactured the automation, Contrologix 5000 processors, Kinetix Fiber Optic Servo Driven Robots, Pneumatic pick and place, multiple conveyors with ascent and descent sections, Ethernet communication with multiple Panel views utilizing Factory Talk.
Project Management included a Prioritized Open Points List for all known issues and those discovered throughout the project. Completed 100% of the open tasks.
