Developed an interactive visual tool called PEARL to understand personal emotional style based on twitter feed using D3 and JavaScript.

Movie recommendation system August 2017 - December 2017

Demonstrated data rendering in a vector model. Implemented TF, TF-IDF with different objects and features as tags to figure out how discriminating tags are in describing objects using sklearn. Used decomposition algorithms (PCA, SVD) for clustering data and using page rank algorithm for accurate recommendations. Built using python.

News recommendation system August 2017 - December 2017

Implemented a web scraper based recommendation system for technology related news and articles based on the interests of the user using BeautifulSoup.

Used the kNN algorithm for content-based filtering from scikit-learn, and NLTK libraries for natural language processing in Python. The data was stored in MongoDB.

Product Attribute Extraction and Comparator August 2016 - May 2017

Product classification and attribute extraction of web based product descriptions for e-commerce sites in order to automate manual data entry and quality assurance jobs.

A Naïve Bayes classifier was written in Java to identify the type of product described by the given URL, html pages and text documents stored in a MongoDB database with 79% efficiency.
