Work Experience

Before studying, I went to England to get work experience and travel.

I worked at a Grocery store (Fowey Mini Market) for a year. I stocked up, worked at the cash register, did stock taking and cashed up.

Then I got a job at Amazon(UK) for a few months (fixed term contract). Filling up trolleys according to each customer list, stock taking, wrapping gifts ect.

Worked for a short while at Molenaar’s and Olivier Attorneys, doing filing and office assistance.

And even when at the mine, in my spare time between waiting for breakdowns, I organized our stores, ordered spares and made it easier to work with. Got my Supervisor’s Safety documents ready and up to date where possible, always went the extra mile.

Then I did my Apprentice in Instrumentation, became a Qualified Instrumentation Artisan and worked for +- 10 years in this field while being a Safety Rep for HSEQ.

When I left I assisted my husband in his Company (Go-Solar Electrical) with filing, paper work, collecting and buying spares – to keep me busy.
