RESPONSIBILITIES and DUTIES
•Greeting and welcoming customers with smile and enthusiasm and seating them to the tables.
•Present food and beverage menu to customers.
•Explaining the special meals and beverages of the day and making recommendations when requested by customers.
•Taking food and beverage orders from the quests and relating it to the kitchen staffs via the point of sale system.
•Serving a range of drinks and food whilst counting to build customer rapport.
•Serving customers alcoholic drinks.
•Resolving complaints to achieve positive solutions for customers and restaurants.
•Maintenance and cleaning restaurant tables, chairs and decorations.
•Opening and closing of restaurant and bar area, setting up and cleaning equipment.
•Handling payments, either in cash of debit card and also handle payment complains.
•Receiving phone calls for inquiries, reservations and deliveries.
•Performing the duties and responsibilities of the cashier and closing the sales report at the end of the shift.
