As a CSHCS Representative it is my responsibility to assist special need clients and their families obtain services specific to their medical needs as well as other resources.

Assist clients and their family with barriers they may have or experience when obtaining the correct specialty doctor for medical treatment(s), medications, lodging and transportation needs for medical appointments or hospital stays.

Conflict resolution with pharmacies, medical offices, or hospitals regarding CSHCS benefits and invoice issues regarding the benefit coverages and guidelines of CSHCS.

My job requires constant contact with multiple clients, family members as well as health care and state personnel to assist the clients and their families to the best of my ability.

My job also includes opening all incoming mail and all follow up regarding the incoming mail. My job also included massive monthly mailings to clients and or their families reminding them of their renewal dates to reapply for CSHCS benefits, welcome to our county packets and age transition information.

Internal billing which is a part of the process in retaining the CSHCS grant.

Answer phones, document all communications and input them into the appropriate local or state of Michigan data base.

Office functions beyond answering phones and data entry I am also responsible for ordering brochures and all government forms for CSHCS.

As an office Manager and Coordinator in my current position it is my responsibility to ensure all of our policies and procedures are adhered to for all payer sources as well as federal, state and CHAP guidelines and regulations. I am responsible for all aspects of a home health care agency, that includes but not limited to running the office, being on call 24/7, monthly schedules for clients and staff.

Communicate with outside agencies, doctor offices and others as appropriate

Billing duties include but are not limited to Data entry, invoice submission to multiple agencies and private pay clients, in relations to agency protocol and contract specifications.

Process payroll for office and field staff timely and accurately, by auditing time cards and identifying discrepancies, compiling flow sheets for input.

I havesome experience with Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office Outlook 2016, Visions, Visions Sky, Vendor View, LEO, and eager and willing to learn and accept new challenges.

Cared for patient on a home making level, laundry, grocery shopping and meal preparation.

Changed dressings, measured and packed wound as trained by the RN supervisor.

I provided respite care for client families. I provided client with socialization and entertainment as requested by family and client and other duties that a primary caregiver would perform.

My job was rewarding just in knowing that the assistance I gave to others made a positive difference.
