Field Engineer 2, Aviation Maintenance, and Logistics Advisor Provided logistics, pilot training, maintenance training, and aviation field engineering support to the US Army, Taiwan Army, and Kuwait Air Force Apache Longbow Delta and Echo version helicopter AN/APG-78 radar and AN/APR-48A & B Radar Frequency Interferometer sensor systems. Served as a link between the United States government and the Taiwan Army and Kuwait Air Force providing supply chain management advice to senior officers to include forecasting, ordering, receiving, inventorying, and storing AH-64D & E Apache helicopter spare parts. Advised and trained senior officers on establishing AH-64D & E Apache helicopter specific maintenance programs, policies and procedures. Coordinated with the funding officer to ensure funds were available, with item managers to ensure that parts were available and ordered expeditiously, and with commercial carriers (UPS, FedEx and DHL) to ensure parts were delivered on time and to the correct location. Maintained and controlled an inventory valued in excess of $5 million dollars in multiple locations. Advised and trained Apache pilots on operating procedures, tactics, and symbology. Received a Field Engineering Award for my support and deployment to Iraq embedded with the 2/101st Airborne Apache Helicopter Battalion. Received an award from the United States Congress for my continued support of the US Army. Received 2 awards from the Taiwan Army for my exceptional support of the Taiwan Army Apache helicopters. On-call support to fly out to Illesheim, Germany, when the 159th requested my services, which was often. 2nd Battalion, 159th Aviation Regiment requested my services for the 2012 deployment to Camp Buehring, Kuwait. Already supporting the Kuwait Air Force Longbow Apaches in Kuwait so I got approval from the United States government to support both the US Army and the Kuwait Air Force for several months combined.

Led a “Quick Reaction” Engineering Team who travelled to the United Arab Emirates on less than 12 hours’ notice to repair and upgrade the APG-80(V) electronically scanned radar on the Falcon Edge F16 fighter jet version. Scheduled repairs and upgrades were planned to take approximately 1 month and my team performed it in less than 2 weeks saving considerable time for the aircraft and money by the program.
