Engineer/Scientist: Boeing Commercial Airplane Autoflight Control Engineer 08/29/2011 ā€“ 09/23/2016 1). Verified on a timely basis to airline customers that Autopilot functioned as expected during anomalous flight events involving 737, 747, 747-8, 757, 767, and 777 models. Used Boeing analysis tools to plot flight data. Coded Boeing desktop simulation program and used Integrated Aircraft Simulation Lab benches using flight software to reproduce flight anomalies. Developed MATLAB scripts to augment plotting tools. 2). Performed Monte Carlo analysis to ascertain that fidelity of desktop simulation for Autoland Performance was maintained with each new version of simulation for 747-8, 757, 767, 767-2C, and 777 models. 3). Verified that limit cycling of pitch attitude and elevator deflection for 737 during Take-Off and Go-Around was not a threat to flight safety.

4). Verified that there were no Minimum Speed violations for various phases of flight and for various Autoflight modes with the Autothrottle engaged and disengaged for the 737MAX and 737NG. 5). Worked with 787 Autoflight team in effort to determine cause of transient in GPS Landing System (GLS). Provided plots of flight data in attempt to establish possible correlation of GLS Localizer Deviation Filter Bias Velocity Estimate with other parameters in GLS system.

6). Performed frequency sweep analysis for 787-9. Programmed and ran desktop simulation for various weights, centers- of-gravity (cgā€™s), velocities, altitudes, and flap settings. Extracted data and plotted in Excel to compare peak-to-peak oscillations for rudder, elevator, flaperon, and aileron control surfaces. 7). Revised the Mach Trim Schedule for the 737MAX

8). Revised the control laws for the 737MAX Stab Trim Monitor during landing under 400 feet with icing conditions. 9). Acquired familiarity with Rockwell-Collins Mode Control Panels for 737, 747/757/767, and 777 models. Engineer/Scientist: Space Shuttle Integration Ascent Guidance Navigation Control Engineer 07/2002 ā€“ 08/05/2011 1). For 22 flights verified for United Space Alliance (USA) and NASA customers that Shuttle Ascent Flight Control System (FCS) was stable. Performed linear analysis to calculate slosh phase margins and rigid-body gain and phase margins for No-Engine-Out and One-Engine-Out cases. Verified by non-linear analysis that trajectory points showing gain and phase margin violations were still stable. 2). Performed flex-body analysis for Ascent FCS for STS-125 and STS-129 in addition to rigid-body analysis. Was awarded Employee of the Month for enhanced analysis of STS-125 FCS for Hubble Service Mission IV. 3). For 22 flights, verified for USA and NASA that there was no evidence of trend toward instability of FCS after each launch. Performed time-domain assessment of Redundancy Management system and frequency domain analysis of flight data from accelerometers and rate gyro assemblies for critical time intervals of Shuttle ascent. 4). Developed MATLAB script which automated entire post-flight analysis process 5). Produced major part of post-flight analysis for Ascent FCS during investigation of STS-107 accident. 6). For six flights, verified for USA and NASA that Inertial Navigation System functioned as expected.
