My last three multifaceted positions working within various R&D groups has helped me understand the systems and procedures used by regulatory agencies such as the FDA, DOD, UL, and ETL.

My entire career has been spent obtaining both “real world” experiences as well as constantly furthering my education. I’ve served in various manufacturing, quality, and developmental positions including engineer, engineering technician, machine shop supervisor, and QA/QC. The experience I have gained from these positions joined with my education makes me uniquely qualified. I have the ability to support manufacturing & fabrication, quality, design engineering and customers, while continually improving products and processes through the resolution of technical issues. My education and pursuit of knowledge has not ceased with my degree in mechanical engineering from Penn State University. Through seminars and various web based learning tools, I continually pursue new information in my quest broaden my working knowledge of the latest materials, practices, standards, and ever changing technology. These educational experiences continually improve my problem solving abilities and provide me with a solid academic foundation to support my hands-on manufacturing & fabrication background.

• Maintain and inventory of all laboratory test equipment including ensuring test equipment is in proper working condition and in compliance to specifications.

• Prepare of all types of product testing including mechanically, electrically, thermally and environmentally.

• Write testing procedures to comply with UL, Intertek/ETL, ANSI, CSA, and IEC standards.

• Perform product testing to all required applicable specifications.

• Monitor and document of all testing parameters including written, photographic, and data sheets.

This multifaceted role has allowed me to become familiar with FDA and pharmaceutical industry standards as they relate to the manufacturing, assembly and delivery of state of the art diagnostic devices. AUTOMOTIVE TEST TECHNICIAN/ASSEMBLER I - VEHICLE TEST GARAGE- BAE SYSTEMS

• Responsible for quality, performance, and reliability testing of all derivatives of the Bradley Fighting Vehicles.

• Assured that final vehicle met or exceeded manufacturing quality standards.

• Identified and documented quality / performance deviations utilizing, EFIR, BAE and DOD NCR systems.

• Assuring the preparation and implementation of repairs / rework using approved procedures and atypical fixes for completed vehicles to meet DCMA quality requirements.

• Assisting with design change mock-ups and recommending changes. This role has allowed me to become familiar with Bradley Fighting Vehicles in their entirety. As well as the internal practices and documentation of BAE Systems, DOD and DCMA.


• Inspected and tested sheet metal assemblies for substandard welds, leaks, dimensional variances, and visual defects.

• Identified quality deficiencies and repaired all assemblies not meeting quality standards.

• Repair techniques including metal forming, GTAW or (tig welding), GMAW or (mig welding), and braising utilizing “MAP” gas. METROLOGY LABORATORY TECHNICIAN- METROLOGY & QUALITY- Donsco, Inc.

• Programed, set-up, and operated CMM and various inspection equipment.
