• Direct the Daily operations of all maintenance, landscape, security, and ranch functions. Sorrel River is an upscale 55 room resort and working ranch with “Farm to Table” operation, livestock, horses as well as productive hay fields.

• Manage and operate the ranch’s public water system and water treatment plant. This process includes the draw of raw water from the Colorado River, filtration, treatment and production of drinking water and irrigation water. Maintain all state mandated records, operate and log plant functions daily, provide monthly water samples and written reports and records to the state of Utah.

•Plan, co-ordinate and implement all guest room, public space and equipment preventive maintenance functions. This includes Geo-Thermal heating and cooling systems, spa equipment, kitchen equipment, fleet vehicles, heavy equipment, farm implements, employee housing, ranch facilities and an extensive public water and irrigation system.

•Plan, co-ordinate and complete capital projects. Recent capital projects completed with on-site staff and temporary labor include the exterior staining of all ranch buildings totaling 200,000 SF of coverage area, the removal and replacement of an existing dish room floor including removal of all equipment, removal of existing ceramic tile and subfloor, repairing damaged floor joists, and reinstalling subfloor, duro-rock underlayment, ceramic tile and cove, new green board wall surfaces and FRP panel and trim. Installation of photo-cells on all exterior ranch lighting fixtures, including building, guest room, and public areas.

•Maintain all fields, irrigation and ranch equipment this also includes the production, care and baling of hay for ranch horses and livestock.
