was called G2. Performed troubleshooting duties for all bakery sites. Built Sun servers from scratch after

receiving shipped parts from the factory. Servers were staged burnt-in and tested, then shipped to bakeries

for setup and operation. Developed and maintained sub-systems written in PL/1 used to interface PLC

devices to databases and to the G2 real-time knowledge-based system.

Performed integration of G2 platform to IBM mainframes, using Cobol and to Unix servers.

Lockheed Missiles & Space Company, Inc., Iuka, MS

Position: Lead Engineer

Responsible for the development of a real-time knowledge based system for monitoring and control of

manufacturing processes for the production of solid rocket motors for NASA. Participated in the proposal

for this contract, where I sold the concept of using artificial intelligence. This concept was a major factor

in Lockheed winning the contract. Served as system administrator for the development group. Established

and maintained a local area network consisting of a primary and secondary server with eight diskless nodes

and 2 nodes with their own disks. The LAN includes Decstation 5000, Decstation 3100, SGI and IBM

RS/6000 workstations.

Served as programmer/analyst in the development of application systems written in PL/1. Served as

programmer/analyst in the development of application systems written in the COBOL language. These

systems were written for the U. S. Navy and ran on the IBM mainframe. Responsible for the maintenance

of IBM mainframe systems. Served as Systems Programmer writing programs in IBM Assembly

Language.

Established computer centers for the Ministry of Finance. Worked as Adjunct Professor for University of

Hawaii and the University of Iowa. Trained Indonesian nationals in the development and operation of the

computer centers. Involved mainframes, minicomputers and system development in assembly, PL/1 and

Cobol languages. Established research computer center for the Department of Agriculture in Indonesia.

This task required the conversion of large statistical packages like BMDP, and Minitab from the IBM

mainframe to a Honeywell minicomputer. The conversion was done in Fortran.
