Over Twenty-five years experience as mechanical/piping designer/coordinator. Thorough knowledge of conceptual front-end lay out, design and checking. Assembly details for grass roots, revamp, optimization, and modernization projects including cost estimating, project control, specifications, material takeoff and procurement in the Offshore, Polymer, Mining industry. Extensive field experience and project walk-through for facility expansions and revamps. Piping Designer: Assigned to hurricane disaster salvage operations in the gulf. 3-D Modeling rigs for Devon that crashed to the ocean bed. Then re-enacted the crash site on the 3-D Model with real world coordinates using an underwater ROV. This helped with the salvage operations to safely recover equipment and provide safe routes for underwater divers. Used CADWorx

KVAERNER PROCESS – Houston, Texas

Piping Lead: Assigned to Alcoa projects in Jamaica, the West Indies and Point Comfort, Texas. Worked directly with Alcoa to solve design and process problems for the One Million Ton Upgrade projects including material handling equipment, conveyors. Prepared mechanical layout and detailed piping, vessel and conveying systems drawings, developed P&ID’s, estimates and material takeoff. Checked piping drawings and ISO’s, P&ID reviews, installation and fabrication dimensions, and material specification compatibility and fabrication feasibility. Assigned to the Jamaica job site to coordinate construction crews, insuring design criteria was being followed per engineering drawings. Assigned as a piping designer for the Pemex project for the offshore division. Duties included equipment location and piping layout. (AutoCad 13,14,Microstation, PDS training and PDMS training)

Sr. Pipe Designer– Assigned to Phillips project in Sweeny, Texas. Worked on site Drawing iso’s for the field and routing lines as required to finish up project.

Sr. Pipe Designer– Assigned to Methanex project (Train 2 & 3) in Chile. Project was done in metric. Worked with all disciplines checking all rack drawings.
