Dear Hiring Manager,

I am a full-time college student enrolled in a business program, with specifications in Human Resources. I was immediately intrigued at having your company as a potential future employment opportunity for my summer co-op position. In addition to my education I have over four years of experience working in many different industries and performing a variety of different jobs. Through this I have a strong level of competency when working with team members, co-workings, and all departments of management.

In my current college program Business Administration – Human Resources Advanced Diploma, I have studied a diverse range of courses that pertain to the world of business and human resources. Some of those courses are Human Resources Management, Financial Accounting, Occupational Health and Safety Management, Employment Law, and Microcomputer Applications.

Throughout my years of employment, I have had the opportunity to work for a vast variety of industries that have advanced my knowledge in health and safety, customer satisfaction, handling customers bills and paperwork, filing and ensuring the completion of paperwork and working as a team. Furthermore, working with dispatch has taught me time management and prioritizing skills.

Safety training includes Basic Awareness 5 step supervisor training, WHMIS 2015, Working at Heights, Fire Extinguisher training, Propane Training, Violence and Harassment Training.

In addition, I have my G2 license and a reliable vehicle. I will be returning to my college program come September 2019 to continue my education and pursuing my future career as a human resource professional. Thank you for taking the time to read my resume and consider me as an applicant. I look forward to hearing from you.
