PERSONAL PROFILE

Well-rounded computer scientist with exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, familiar with full-development life cycle and agile methodologies. I will be obtaining my BS in Computer Science May 2019, with aspirations of pursuing a software engineering career path where I can shadow experts to leverage my current skill set.

Last Fall of 2018 I was a part of a 4-man team representing Langston University in the Kansas City Federal Reserve Code-A-Thon. We received the University Champions Award for creating a Java based Android Application that automated the process of clocking in and out of work. My role was to implement the geofence using the Google Maps API for the user to enter and exit. During homecoming week with only 72 hours to complete this project it was a great experience exercising discipline to meet strict deadlines while collaborating in a team of students on various skill levels.

Acquired working knowledge of Python for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to implement and test computer vision algorithm named DeepDream

Compared the process and output variations between TensorFlow and Caffe implementations of the DeepDream algorithm by manipulating the weights, biases, and frames of the model on a Linux Ubuntu OS

Compiled findings into a poster board presentation that suggest furthering research on DeepDream to test the effects of Virtual Reality psychedelic therapy to reduce the necessity to ingest any substance
