NG-911 Field Engineer
Conversion of the existing analog 911 system to voice over IP. Installation of switches and routers
which connected to two data centers. We installed a LAN/WAN in 240 police station which included work stations, Voip phones and printers. All stations received a UPS backup which we upgraded the firmware and connected it to the network. All peripheral were connected with Cat 5e or better.

Journeymen’s exam, rated 1999, this is an 8 hour comprehensive verbal exam which encompasses telephone communications system from the central office to the customer. Once the exam was completed, I began to instruct other technicians in the process and helped over 150 technicians to reach their goal. The process takes approximately 6 months of intense studying.
Instructor for Journeymen’s Exam, 2000 to present, have taught an annual class for those seeking to be a Journeyman Technician. Have assisted over 150 students to become rated. A process which takes approximately 6 months of studying.
