• Code dates that have a 'use by," or "expiration" date on the case should be used, and if that date is not

on the case, then today's receiving date is used.

• Check count of product as it comes off the truck to insure correct receiving.

• Make sure product is properly stacked with the correct TI & HI on each pallet before tagging

• As a pallet of product is correctly counted, affix the correct pallet label to the pallet on the bottom

right-hand corner of the pallet.

• Any shorts, overages, wrong product, or damages must be entered on the discrepancy form. All

damages and wrong products are to be refused and given back to the carrier. Overages require buyer

approval before they can be accepted.

• Once a product on the purchase order have been counted and each pallet labeled, return the paperwork

to the office for the driver to be signed out.

• See that dock is in orderly shape before and after trucks are unloaded.

• Be sure equipment used in unloading is properly checked and maintained.

• Other duties as assigned by warehouse manager.
