The Reentry Initiative, Longmont CO Campaign Manager and Social Media Assistant

August 2017 - May 2018

As a campaign manager, my duties include to help video record donors and volunteers to capture why people are involved in TRI. TRI wanted to focus on spreading the awareness of the organization through a Facebook campaign. If we share our stories to our audiences, then they will share the videos to their friend groups. That way, we can spread the importance of organizations like TRI. I helped create a video of myself for the organization to use and offered assistance to help video record members of our organization who might need help. I continued to help find useful articles as well to upload to our organizations Facebook page. It is important I do so in order to keep our audiences engaged. As social media assistant,, it was my job to update & supervise all activities on Facebook. Since the organization is fairly recent, Facebook is their main social media platform. It is important to keep our audiences updated every day & keep relative & important information on the sites page. I was involved in creating a social media calendar & assign specific dates to specific topics related to The Reentry Initiative key messages & goals. It was important to keep every post we share specific to the organization in order to ensure the audiences what the organization is about. I also went to multiple classrooms on my university & gave mini presentations to multiple classrooms. It is important to get volunteers for the organization so that they would be able to expand. I also was able to gain more followers on our Facebook page to grow the audience & gain more supporters. I am not as heavily involved with the 970-***-****

I organized the store & cleaned it up to make sure it was presentable for all customers. I would fold clothes, make sure they were put away neatly & all had price tags. With this position, it taught me to be more creative when helping customers put together outfits, to always greet the customer and make them feel welcome in the store & as well to handle more responsibility.
