Children At Heart Ministries – Graphic Designer 01/2007 – 11/2015 Sole in-house concept, layout and design for 6 agencies to include brand identity management. Design collaboration with fundraising/development team and agency executives which includes 85% of entire collateral print design and production including electronic media.

Specific responsibilities include:

Input into the creative process

Identifying creative visual solutions consistent with ministry identities, strategies, goals and branding needs

Designs printed materials including flyers, pamphlets, brochures, newsletters, advertisements, and other collateral for internal and external use

Produces material within established project schedules and budgets

Maintains a current knowledge base on design and production and prepares print specifications and tracks budgets, coordinating and excellent communication with staff and vendors

Assures graphic design of websites reflect CAH standards, marketing strategies, global mission and vision for all ministries. By serving as an internal staff contact for all design needs; assure Page - 1

accuracy of website materials, along with other communication team. Ensures continuity between websites and the backup for posts approved content, including edited text and photos.

Generates graphic edits and/or creating original graphic content by maintaining current web designs, email marketing and social media content knowledge base.

Project Management through best methods available including graphics project scheduling and approval infrastructure for graphics trafficking, from inception through production, printing, delivery and job closing. Graphic production of packaging primaries and shippers including specification design and ECO input into manufacturing bill of material. 2000 contributions included forty 3M or Private label brand packaging updates. 29 revisions on new products for OEM/Private Label customers, including HP and Tektronix which brought the total number of completed packaging projects to 69 in 2000.

Managed the implementation of the Electronic Artwork Routing and Approval Lotus Notes database tool for Graphic Specifications. Moved to an automated process for electronic artwork review improving cycle time for US approvals from 7-30 days down to 1 or 2 days. International approvals improved from 14-90 days down to 7 days. Division rationale evolved into a Group Project with potential savings of $157,000 annually.

Liaison between 3M procurement and division for suppliers in all product lines for artwork purchases that included Hard goods, Overhead Projectors and accessories. Electronic Projection Systems and Supplies for pre-printed shippers and labels to uphold Corporate Identity Branding Strategy and remain in compliance with engineers and Corporation packaging guidelines.
