Objective - Seeking a position as a Software Developer or related IT specialist in which I can use new technologies, and work as part of a team on substantial projects. I already have over a year of experience, but am targeting jobs where I have an opportunity to put my skills in coding to work. I am open to mentorship.

Work Experience -

National Title Information Services, Inc.

Lakeland FL

Software Developer, Data Entry Operator

February 2015 to June 2016

I programmed to automate title search orders, and other projects. Additionally, I did Title Search receiving, and I also engaged in data entry- opening and updating files for real estate financing and purchase contracts. See ‘Projects’ section for some of the applications I coded during my time at NTIS.

Projects -

Automated title search requests: Used VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) to pull from a database of property information and put into an online title search service website’s form. I programmed most of this in VBA, but had a colleague help with SQL procedures. Later versions of this project featured functionality which automatically created a new file for the property.

Automated File Opening: Used VBA to compile CSV’s for import into ResWare filesystem. The data for these was parsed, using SQL, from emails from a remote branch.

Title Search Input Form: Built a WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) form for all title search researchers in the office to use for all data entry into Resware files ‘property info’ tab. A lien searcher could use this form to view, update, and delete data. This project required in-depth knowledge of windows forms, Visual Basic, and SQL.

Punch Clock: Created a clock to record timesheets for all employees. This consisted of a Sharepoint page on which the user was automatically recognized, and their timesheet was accessed from the database. Once pulled up, the options for Clock In/Out, Break 1 or Break 2, and Clock Out for Lunch or Clock back in were presented (all dependent on a logic tree I created).

Package Tracker: Implemented an excel spreadsheet that would report on the delivery status of UPS packages, pulled automatically from the UPS website.
