Import / Export, Container Yard around 2800 hundred container storage capacity, Reefer container point, Bond Warehouse, Export Warehouse and Open Bond area.

Overall responsibilities of empty containers from Aug-15 to Jully-15.
Working in a corporate environment, responsible for overall empty containers handling and all related services.
Empties inventory checking in a system and giving the movement of dock d-stuff empty containers to the transporters from CFS to empty yards.
Allotment empties through a system from CFS inventory to the export customers if required.
Daily mails receiving as order of empty containers from all respected customers for stuffing their cargo for export.
Follow up with the transporters for smooth and timely movement of the containers.
Console the issues with a concern Empty Yard and with the Shipping Line Officials regarding the problems of pick up & drop the containers.
Specific instructions to the yard staff in the CFS for cleaning of dock de-stuff containers and for the stacking in an empties lot for smooth loading operation.
Insuring all the containers should neat and clean before moving out from the cfs to PORT to meet the vessels.
Moving the empty containers from outside EMPTY YARD to YARD and YARD to PORT as per shipping line instructions.
Distribution of empty containers movements between the transporters.
Following up for the export empty containers gate in at the port before vessel cut-off.
Generating work order in a system (CFS MAG) for container gate in / gate out process.
Updating MIS report on daily basis.
Monthly container movement detail checking and do necessary corrections if required and forwarding for a billing purpose.

Handling entire yard operation with a team size of 10 to 12 personnel.
Receiving of import containers from port.
Customer wise container stacking in a lot for time saving, less Kalmar utilization and for the less diesel consumption.
Creating ideas and specific instructions for the unloading and loading of over dimension cargo and container.
Taking care of Hazardous container to be stack in a haz containers lot only.
Concerning to refer containers plunging, temperature and stacking.
Advice to the CHA’s for taking right equipment for their cargo de-stuffing, providing total support for their container grounding, placement and loading.

Monthly stock count with a system (CFS MAG).
Tracking of import pendency and make necessary arrangement to allocate location for upcoming containers.
Handling and utilizing (05Kalmars, 01Crane, 01Hydra, 01 10Ton Forklift and 01 5Ton Forklift) for daily yard operations.
Ensure all the stacking of container should be with a system only and if finds and discrepancy notice and make it correct.
Looking staff duty schedule, leaves and their queries.
Performing to complete 500 to 600 tues to organized in a daily work schedule.
Follow up with the gate executive for such information received from import desk and export desk as given below.
1)Weighing of containers on arrival.
2)Following up for the export empty arrival containers stacking at a right place as per instruction given by the concern departments.
3)Doing proper survey of each container like loaded import or empty containers on their arrival and departure.
