Within this company I was in charge of interior wall layouts, and running a 4-10 man crew doing sheet rocking and interior framing as well as maintaining the purchasing of all stocked materials and tools. My main project was the New Albany Convention Center (2.7 Million dollar job) I ensured our scope of project was done in a timely manner with safety being the number one priority.

At this company, I was Carpenter and Carpenter/Foreman, the projects I had worked on were Saratoga Race Track (4.235 Million in Saratoga County, Siena College(1.8 Million-in Albany County & currently working at Times Union Building(5.1 Million-In Albany County)Each of these projects require close coordination with subcontractors and client. Responsibilities included, but not limited to, the maintenance and purchasing of all stocked materials and tools. I supervised anywhere from 3-12 carpenters at a time, to ensure the projects were being done correctly and in a timely manner. Safety is a priority.
Henderson and Johnson: 2011 – 2014, Superintendent - Capital Region, NY
After quickly being promoted from foreman to superintendent, I was entrusted with large dollar projects with high profile clients. Projects worked included GE Battery in Schenectady (1.4 million), KAPL Kesselring in West Milton (1.6 million), and the Clark Art building in Williamstown MA (2.5 million). These projects required high level security background investigation and approval. I hold a red badge security clearance at KAPL. These projects required framing, sheetrock and acoustical ceiling installation. Between the projects, I oversaw and motivated between 4 and 18 carpenters. Beyond supervision, daily reports were required, as well as maintaining material and equipment stock. Close coordination with other contractors in the area is key to maintaining a professional and collaborative jobsite. All scopes completed to date have been completed under budget and on schedule.
AM Contracting: 2009 – 2011, Foreman - Capital Region, NY
Contracts with AM, employed me at GLOBALFOUNDRIES, NYS DOT at Albany, and the Beechnut warehouse facility in Amsterdam, NY. I oversaw crews ranging from 6 -13 men and women on each of these projects. Scope of work included, but was not limited to, framing, sheetrock and acoustical ceiling installation. Each project was completed under budget and on time. Daily progress and safety reports were required and performed.

After started as a carpenter, I was promoted and given supervisory position within three months. As superintendent I supervised and motivated personnel, performed project estimating, oversaw and scheduled subcontractors for respective projects. The largest project I supervised was the Troy High School Renovation (1.9 million). This project was completed under budget and on schedule.

After started as carpenter was promoted and given supervisory position within six months. I was responsible for projects such as the Stillwater community center/ gymnasium constructed addition (660,000.00), the Waterford Welcome Facility (3.3 million), and the EPI-MED medical building in Johnstown (4.7 million). Each of these projects required close coordination with subcontractors and the client. Responsibilities also included, but were not limited to, the maintenance and purchasing of all stocked material and tools. At the Waterford project, I worked closely with the D.E.C. to control and prevent any debris or other environmental concerns from contaminating the Hudson River. All projects were completed on schedule and under budget.

After started as a carpenter for twelve years out of high school, I was transitioned into a supervisory position and began overseeing projects. Projects worked on and oversaw included the St. Johnsville Nursing Home (1.1 million) which was constructed from ground to completion, the United Foods Loading Dock addition (480,000) where I oversaw subcontractors and BBL employees to facilitate the project’s completion, and the School House Pools Warehouse renovation (350,000). There I oversaw and motivated BBL employees to renovate the existing structure into a state of the art warehouse and storage area.
