A provider of custom Enterprise Software design, development, and implementation services for Fortune 100 companies. Carry out all operations and development functions; create state-of-the-art turnkey systems.

Select engagements:

API/Automation Development. Work with a set of DOD Vendors (A2B Tracking, General Dynamics Land Systems) to create a new automation paradigm for tracking thousands of parts from multiple vendors and reporting results (status, cost, location, etc.) to the U.S. Department of Defense. Everything done with simple REST/WCF architecture and Windows Services.

Problem Resolution for the Microsoft E-Commerce System in Redmond. Work with MSFT on their Web Applications Store (Azure, Office 365, etc.) to track and resolve any billing issues for 15+ million customers. Modify, fix bugs and create new components for the custom MSFT Billing System. Windows Server, WCF, C#, SQL Server 2005/2012, and IIS are the tools/platforms utilized.

Created an E-Commerce Brokerage System for the Insurance Industry. Allows life insurance policies to be auctioned to bidders such as hedge funds, banks and other insurers, selling the ‘Brokerage as a Service’. Life expectancy, policy details, face value, and other attributes are combined with complex statistical models to determine actual values. Security and privacy are key requirements, as is compliance with relevant state and federal regulations. EFT routines created for the Automated Clearing House Network (ACH) for payment options (payments usually $250K +). Entire application is data/user-driven via SQL Server 2008 and IIS 7.5.

Application Upgrades for a Biomedical Firm. Upgrade 15+ .Net 1.1 web applications critical to engineering and sales that are crashing constantly and poorly designed. Upgraded to .Net 4.0 (highest server level at company was Windows Server 2008). Developed new applications to eliminate several manual workflows and grab data from SAP to automate several time-consuming data entry processes. Windows Server 2003/2008, VB.Net, C#, HTML5, SQL Server 2000, and IIS are the tools/platforms utilized. Created System Architecture design plans to bring the company into the 21st century.

Created an Internal Enterprise Monitoring Portal/Real-Time Network Dashboard. Allowed a large insurance company to monitor over 18,000 Network Devices/Servers around the world, tracking and gleaning data from a multitude of Monitoring Systems Software in real-time for a centralized presentation available 7X24. Device Operating systems included Windows, Linux, Red Hat, and AIX. Presentation focused on Device Availability and Application Server Resource Utilization. SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, C#, IIS 7.5 and SQL Server 2008 R2 used to create, maintain and expand the Web Portal as necessary. Also integrate and customize SharePoint 2010 with MSFT Team Foundation Server.

Developed specialized billing components and provided taxation expertise for a Top-Tier Billing System provider and its largest telecom customers. Customers include Microsoft Windows Live and Chicago's O'Hare International Airport, Premiere Global Services and InterCall. The solutions provided handle customized taxation processes, wholesaler activity, e-bill creation and other customized protocols and products for various clients.
