Time Series analysis was performed on 2.9 million records of passenger commute data from trains in Columbia, to predict the most busiest stations on a monthly basis. Tools used: Python3.
Movie Recommendation System

Created a R shiny application to exhibit the results of User based collaborative filtering for movie recommendations on movielens dataset .
1.2 million records with 600 users was used to build the recommendation system.
Safe Parking App – Smart City Initiative

Predicting Safe parking by comparing crime records on parked vehicles, along with the parking data for Seattle with a UI to exhibit the predictions was presented to Solaris lab team in Boston. Tools used : Leaflet, R.
Investigate Insurance Data : Pacemaker surgery on patients

Investigated patient population receiving pacemakers to study the effect of gender on diagnostics before pacemaker implantation and its consequences.
Results: Observed that male patients are overlooked (under-diagnosed) for some medical conditions (that are more common among females) in emergency room which may lead to heart problems that could be avoided. Tools used : MysQL
