Senior Web Redesign Project (January 2017 – May 2017)

Upon meeting with the Chief executive officer of Itutela, my team have discovered that her company is in need of a website redesign that provides their institution with more functionality and the ability to exemplify better productivity. Due to this, we discussed various requirement updates for the current website in order to meet their needs and wants.

Started the project by reviewing the company’s overview and the executive summary to get a better understanding of what the company is about

Researched itutela’s competition in order to help the new website stand out

Used keyword extraction tools to research and extract competitor web page keywords

Used Google online tools to determine ranking of such key words

Researched different color schemas that would benefit the new website

Used dream host for the hosting site and Wordpress for the content management system

Created the new website more flexible site structure and accessibility

Improved the online communication to the users

Added high quality images that reflect the purpose of itutela.
