Senior Piping Engineer

Experience with PDMS; Preparation of Piping layout i.e. from compressor to flare area using PDMS/PDS. We had to perform 30%, 60% and 90% model review during HAZOP, HAZID and SIL review for Safety issues. PDMS normally used in offshore project and once we had completed the feed phase, we could properly check whether there is a piping clashed with regards to structures and other piping auxiliary items and also we could study the material handling (ergonomics)specially with regards to maintenance and piping safety studies and further it is more useful to review on PDMS LIKE USING THE Smart Plan Review (SPR) prior to start on fabrication and implementation of the project. Further, With this link using the Smart Plant Review(SPR), it is link to Auto Cad and you can easily generate the fabrication isometrics once PDMS is completed and also link to Caesar II and you can easily run the stress analysis once completed. Based on actual exposure PDMS/3D modelling, we could perform the conceptual design using the 3D technology and will be more useful for review and checking since you had to input the Piping Material specification prior to perform and model the basic modelling of the piping system. Preparation of PIPE Support details using the final Stress output and using the piperack area involved. For PDS: We normally used this software during our offshore works and likewise for PDS, we normally used for onshore works like refineries and petro-chemicals.
