Established remote support program used by all customers.

Hitching Post is the largest Power Sports business in the Midwest. They sell and service Motorcycles, All Terrain Vehicles, Snowmobiles and Personal Watercrafts from Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Polaris, Bombardier, and BMW. Achievements

Took over location in NE Minneapolis consistently posting losses averaging

$250 thousand per year. Turned around to breakeven in 1 year.

Reduced expenses while improving customer service.

Hired as MIS director when the retail division (Only Deals) was a 10 store chain. Implemented Point of Sale (POS), Store Back Office, Host Polling, Automated Replenishment, Merchandising and Sales Audit system.

Supported 3 year rollout from 10 to 75 stores with support staff of 3.

Designed, integrated and implemented real-time, wireless Sales Order Processing system. Achieved system payback in 3 months.

Designed, integrated and implemented UPC labeling system with automated warehouse picking system.

Commercial Systems Corporation 1983-1999


Commercial Systems Corporation was a retail systems business. We developed, marketed and supported UNIX based multi-user and multi-store retail systems. The business was founded to take advantage of the newfound processing power now present in the PC. Achievements

Wrote over 90% of the design specifications for the IRIS system. The IRIS ultimately grew to over 400 programs.

Documented initial end user manuals.

Personally installed over 75 store and host IRIS systems.
