For the project which had started long back in 2013, it had hiccups for Go-Live at end of 2015. Helped the 100-million-dollar project that vendor conveyed going for toss, as it got delay many times in the 3 years. A new team was created for Business readiness; I was part of new team and lead the new team for making project go live successful. Delivered on-schedule project completion. Team was to make sure that design is fine and business readiness, data readiness can make project go live amid given challenges.

I was hired as KEY lead in multiple areas (SAP logistics, SCM areas) as part of new team, lead the efforts from team and helped client Go-Live as per design Data-readiness-cutover-go live and hyper care. Helped client setting-up hyper care system for the Master data governance for the client. Our team joined the project at the tail end of the running project, I performed the analysis for potential issues and resolving them for successful go live. Client-management appreciated the critical help in making things happen for project go-live.

Analyzed the issues in projects as joined the project. Conducted big and later small meetings with different stake-holders to get broad and minute picture of the issues and then analyzed the root cause of issues and came up with potential issues solution.

Analyzed & Identified one of the key bottle neck: existing validation tools, suggested improvements for those tools. Helped client for real validation of the Load object and analyzed their validation process. Legacy to SAP converter with interfaces. SAP FICO project management: Client is in energy efficiency products like Solar panel, Generators and installation of same. Client liked to replace the home built system Accounts seeds by SAP. So project scope was to interface the Sales force to SAP using FICO module. Company is in MDG space, having very aggressive growth rates and its top management has expectation to penetrate in MDG space for thousands of SAP user-base. Company is having key focus on EAM MDG space and is developing better EAM MDG workbench for long run goals of user community. The product eventually will be owned by SAP and Utopia will help substantial number of clients to implement the EAM MDG to help-out SAP customers to fulfill their needs in MDG space. Took assignment with existing SAP product was at too base level to be used. Large Beverage Company has been transitioning their SAP PM, EAM system from old to new with better features, to leverage on the best practices of SAP & using the SAP strength. Making sure that design serve the purpose of business, geography and site. I have been leading the deployment after making sure that product full-fil client business needs.

Created Project rollout plan for more than 15 sites with proper resource allocation.

The largest utility govt. client in UK/ Europe market needed Master Data Governance tool to improve their MDG process efficiency and replace legacy tool built in 15 yrs. This also had benefit of being integrated better with SAP if properly installed. The challenge was to understand client requirements, implement new tool; once I joined earlier team and I conducted meetings with client. Understanding client needs, I solution the product usage and shown client not only meeting the requirements but improvement in their legacy processes. Help selling the company 5-million-dollar product.

Understanding Client requirements by understand their current MDG (Master Data Governance) system that has been developed in last 15 years in phased manner. Drawing the processes and showing client in MDG product usage how to take care of those aspects. This project was running before my joining for one year but having hiccups and hence all leads of the project were changed. Took modules lead for project going under risk earlier before my joining. Achieved a seamless SAP PM, EAM implementation (mySAP) across all 4 businesses, 20+ sites in North America over the course of 10-months by implementing SAP design for client benefit. From business requirements to gap analysis to design, testing and process walk through, I kept project areas I lead.

Client Steering committee, Business leads and Global process owner appreciated the solution achieved with smooth module management and guidance in every phase to avoid any falls through cracks or sub-optimal go live. The design, testing, process walk through was so smooth that client 20+ sites key users never realized the new product solution being developed. Converted very basic legacy SAP in Client’s Mid East location to “critical enhanced SAP system for Europe & USA” 30+ sites for plant maintenance & related business processes. The aim was to have Advanced SAP system for fulfilling critical business process requirements in Europe and USA. (With minimum change impact in client existing Mid-East SAP). Involved in PM/ PS module for USA as well as Europe meetings, providing soln.

Created project plan as realistic considering the sites using SAP PM, EAM vs. sites in USA not using SAP & efforts involved based on realistic practicality.

Lead requirements collection workshops. Based on global client desire kept uniform processes across globe for better process and system perspective. Got Global Business Blue print sign off from various stake holders.

Challenging project where client got business blue print done by two different vendors in 5 years but never approved the project for further phases as client didn’t get convinced for value-add in their business. I was sent to the project for 3 months for Business blue-print as client had put plan to decide on blueprint and go-no go decision like for earlier vendor client refused. Once I joined the project, understood key challenges along with taking detailed requirements. Assured key stake holder and project sponsor by showing prototype and previous project value-add for positive impact design delivery and user-friendly solution. Hence client has given first time full project approx. 40 million dollars based on value-shown for the design and the next phases!
