1. Research Associate at Canada India Centre for Excellence, Carleton University in Ottawa: In my Research Associate role, I investigated the published data on the CO2 Emissions in India to gauge India’s commitment at the Paris Conference to reduce their CO2 emissions by 30-35% relative to its GDP. The project goal was to connect the Canadian companies with target business opportunities in India for capacity building/technology transfer. The data collected on CO2 emissions, sources and usage in India by State was organized in Google Fusion Tables and plotted in Google Earth to produce interactive and pictorial maps for reference by the Canadian companies.

2. October 2016-till date, India Curry and Kebab House, Ottawa : At the restaurant, I am responsible for answering telephone, have take outs, reservations and relay messages. Also I take clients, welcome them and offer whatever they need. I am involved in catering services, readying the facility to be operational and maintaining the tidiness and general clean up. Take active part in receiving and delivering packages of online agencies. Handles the mail and courier services too. One of the key responsibility is to discretely monitor who is arriving and departing through the main doors of the facility and report suspicious activities.

3. HR Consultant/Researcher, Cistel, Ottawa. Research and develop HR Policies and Documentation at Cistel Corporate Office: As an HR consultant perused the Ontario Acts and extracted relevant information for creating an Employee Guidelines Handbook. This Handbook covered HR policies: Workplace Diversity, Sexual Harassment, Whistle Blower, Leave policy, Grievance Handling, Dress Code, and Conflict Resolution.

4. HR/Project Support Administrator at Eion Inc – As a member of the project team and reporting to multiple Directors, my tasks included: i) Coordinating communications among the project teams and monitoring the ticketing system; ii) tracking the performance of the team in terms of timelines and goals; and iii) preparation of Compliance Report for Industry Canada, which includes maintaining records of all the communications being done with the external stakeholders and getting the document ready for the purpose of Audit; and iv) presenting the data and records in graphic forms, power point presentations, etc.
