Hypothesized application of Curved Layer Fused Filament Fabrication technique using Hybrid 5 axis machining and rapid prototyping machine tool.

Successfully showed 2 case studies of a dog bone specimen and cube-shaped structure, modeled using the CLFFF technique, had displayed higher strength than models produced using traditional techniques.

Presented a conclusion describing the advantages of manufacturing components using this technique.

Manufacturing Process Mechanics Project: FEA simulation to Calculate fatigue life of the Piston Head, Wayne State University, Detroit MI, Fall Semester 2015

Created an FEA model of a Piston's head and performed stress analysis while taking variable temperature into consideration.

Interpreted the results of analysis for Von-misses stresses, Thermal strain, nodal temperature, and Displacement.

Calculated the fatigue life of the piston using stress values from the analysis.

Simulated a crack on a finite plate and Carried out FEA analysis under Point, Uniform & Triangular tensile loading
