Remote Wireless Communications
Organized the supply of secure wireless remote/local
communication to mobile subscribers. Cabled shelters into a Nodal
central communications shelter through coaxial cable for local
applications and for remote applications it was cabled to Line of
sight radio shelter. Ensured the installation, operation and
maintenance of the radio shelter met the standards for a 600 -
man organization.
Structured Cabling Technician/Outdoor Plant
Performed work on tactical sights running fiber optical cable,
coaxial cable and CAT 5 cable. Ensured that cable was run from
communications shelters, to the main communication switch.
Installed conduits, ran CAT 5 cable, and terminated the cables.
Performed Cisco 3500, 3550 switch installation, also worked on
the Outside plant ran fiber optical cables from existing conduit
system into buildings. Experienced with fiber optic splicing,
cable fault location both CAT 5 and fiber, installation and
repair. Ensured that over 300 buildings had commercial and secure
and data communications in AL Asad. Experienced with Cisco Call

Installed, operated, troubleshoot and broke down the
communications shelter and the installation of the 30 meter UHF
antenna. Operate over four Line of Sight UHF communications
shelters two high speed data package. Connected three
Communications shelters to a Data Processing Communications
Switch with CISCO router capabilities through fiber optical cable
that provided high speed internet for local subscribers of Taji.
