Assistant Construction Field Operations Manager

Installation, operation, maintenance, repair and modification of equipment, controls or

ancillary products. Guidance and training provided to customer personnel in establishing

operation, maintenance, and inspection procedures and techniques. Analysis of equipment

failures to determine cause and recommend corrective action.

Typical Roles/Area of Focus:

• EHS Administrator (Safety Meeting, Record Keeping, Accident reporting, Field

and salary training)

• Field/Service Engineering

• Project Management

• Overhaul & Repair/After-Market Parts Sales

Level of Responsibility:

• Responsible for small projects or multiple tasks within functional discipline

• Make a significant contribution to team by applying my knowledge of the

discipline

• Works with moderate guidance on projects with short-term focus of field

efficiency, data analysis, safety metrics, chain fall and tool inventory certification

compliance.

• Have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of the discipline and role

• Comply with the EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S

rules and requirements

• Report to supervision conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may

adversely impact the environment, to ensure prompt resolution of potential

hazards

• Coordinate and lead Construction quarterly scheduled EH&S training program for

OSHA and Otis Safety related training.

• Actively support the organization’s efforts to meet or exceed EH&S goals and

plans

• Recommend improved EH&S practices

• Responsible for complying with Company “Code of Ethics,” the “Policy

Statement on Business Ethics and Conduct in Contracting with the U.S.

Government,” and related policies. In executing my responsibilities, I shall take

all steps necessary to foster open communications and to support compliance,

business practices, DIALOG, and Ombudsman programs.
