Engineering Manager

. Responsible for all plant engineering, plant layout, equipment design,

process changes, cost reduction, and product costing of domestic

manufactured goods. JD Edwards system experience.

. Installed two water base paint spray lines to replace solvent based

paint process. Cost savings of $350,000 annually.

. Installed three sets of automatic miter saws to reduce labor and

increase product quality. Total cost savings of $450,000 annually.

. Merged with Nielsen & Bainbridge in April of 2011. Transferred

domestic frame manufacturing from Tennessee plant to Pocahontas, AR

realizing $250,000 savings.

. Installed automated mat cutting equipment to bring in-house outside

manufactured product. Cost savings of $75,000 plus inventory

reduction of $100,000 realized.

specifications, and pallet storage methodology. Installed flow rack

and pick to light systems for smaller package requirements. Annual

savings of $4.3MM realized.

. Established mdf moulding production in North Carolina facility

realizing $2.2MM in savings.

Engineering Manager

. Responsible for the Engineering & Maintenance support of three

manufacturing facilities in the US and one in Mexico.

. Built a fully operational solid wood picture frame manufacturing

facility in Durango, Mexico producing 50,000 frames per day with 250

employees. Cost savings of $2.8MM were realized in the relocation of

this product family.

. Researched new technology and machinery in the industry to maintain

Decorel's reputation as the low cost producer of picture frames.
