As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive onboarding and training program in support of our Federal client. You will work as part of a cross-functional team—including designers and technical experts—engaging with stakeholders and end-users to develop an effective approach and ensure adoption of new systems and processes.

Responsibilities:
Outline and understand end users to create training appropriate to meet their diverse needs
Analyze existing training materials and business processes to identify learning gaps/needs and opportunities for improvement
Research appropriate learning content and coordinate with Subject Matter Experts to structure learning paths
Develop interactive and engaging training materials using a variety of modalities (videos, user guides, gamified learning, etc.) with learner theories in mind (ADDIE, Bloom’s, SAM, etc.) to create dynamic learning experiences
Determine utilization of knowledge checks and compliance tracking
Lead the training development and delivery
Establish metrics and measure user adoption
Facilitate learning management system administration, usage, and develop feedback loop for enhancement
Consider long-term governance for sustaining training programs and materials
Qualifications
Ability to obtain a U.S. government Public Trust Security Clearance
4+ years of experience in Education, Training, HR, or related field
Thorough knowledge of the full training life cycle and demonstrated ability to develop and implement
Knowledge of contemporary learning management software platforms
Experience with traditional and modern training methods, tools, and techniques
Ability to convey complex information in a way that people understand
Experience collaborating within a multi-disciplinary delivery team including UX/UI designers, technologists, data scientists, engineers, solution architects, and change managers
A collaborative nature with excellent written communication and presentation skills
Familiarity with Design Thinking and a natural curiosity for solving problems coupled with strong analytical skills
Experience working in a project-based environment
Proficiency in MS Office and in database software
Bachelor’s degree and 7+ total years of experience or equivalent experience in Training and Instructional Design and education
Must be able to travel across US (10%)
