We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Designer to join our team in the Columbus area with pay starting at 80K. As a Mechanical Designer, you will be responsible for creating detailed designs and technical drawings for mechanical components and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing and designing mechanical parts and assemblies based on project requirements

Collaborating with engineers and other team members to ensure designs meet quality and safety standards

Utilizing CAD software to create 2D and 3D models

Performing simulations and tests on designs to identify and resolve potential issues

Preparing documentation and reports related to design activities

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Proven experience in mechanical design and drafting

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)

Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and materials

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
