We need an RFPM to contribute to the Fitness Connections success by driving the flawless execution of the company’s club programming strategies including leveraging group exercise (GX) and fee-based programs. This position will serve our GX Dallas market.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Manage and provide functional guidance of fee-based programming and help clubs identify new opportunities to grow this line of business.
Identify system limitations and work closely with the NDFP to development solutions
Be knowledgeable of local group exercise trends and competitors.
Ensure that the Group Exercise schedule is in the approved standard company format, displayed promptly and updated online.
Track group exercise related data, communicate data trends and recommendations to the NDFP
Oversee the Group Exercise program by coordinating special events with the General Manager and Regional President.
Model and promote Fitness Connection’s Mission and Values by motivating and supporting club team while always ensuring member satisfaction.
Facilitate monthly Group Exercise Area Manager meetings
Ability to remain flexible in order to adapt to changing work environments
Hold a current national certification
Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations verbally and in writing
Proven ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships
Ability to work independently
Have a high level of professionalism, honesty, integrity and work ethic
Knowledge of safe exercise techniques and group exercise principles
Knowledge of basic physiology and body mechanics
Performance of a variety of exercise routines
Positive and effective interpersonal communication skills
Ability to operate and troubleshoot audio equipment
Exhibit a superior sense of customer service at all times
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience
Minimum of six months of proven success at the Group Exercise Instructor level
Complete knowledge of Group Exercise policies and procedures
High school diploma (Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Recreation preferred)
Company approved current national GXI certification
Instructors having a specialized skill such as Yoga, Pilates, etc. must provide verifiable proof of education
Current CPR certification and basic first aid training is required
