Camp Bucca, Iraq

I was responsible for performing a variety of correctional duties relative to the control, safety, security and supervision of inmates detained at the Camp Bucca site. I was required to manage and track shelf lives of individual items of equipment, unpack and pack items for shipment worldwide. I have experience in proper warehouse procedures. I have applied computer skills as information related to inventories will be input into a Government approved database. Assist in all areas of stock storage; warehousing; material handling; safe MHE operations and general support actions and functions to include planning, scheduling, limited analysis, execution and monitoring stock distribution, storage, support and sustainment operations. Provide hands-on direct on-site support of warehousing functions to include conducting inventories and location surveys; loading and unloading and moving materials, both manually and using MHE; segregation, dunnage, palletization and selection of stock and storage areas and as needed assisting in maintaining records, material control documentation, accounting and supply reports. Receive, count, and stock merchandise in staging areas or upon shelving, verify inventory by comparing physical count of stock and report any discrepancies, store items in an orderly and accessible manner, mark stocked items using identification tags and labels, and examine and inspect stock items for wear and defects, and report such damage.
