• Observe the work that has been completed at the hold point.

• Assess whether the work completed meets the requirements of the project specification.

• Verify that surface preparation and coating application performed by a contractor conform to the requirements of the project specification.

• Document the results of the inspection, and Report (communicate) the outcomes to the facility/asset owner or contractor management.

• Verify each phase of the work meets the requirements set forth by the project specification.

• Verify that quality is being controlled and conducted at the frequency required by the specification.

• Read and comprehend the PDS and denote any conflicts between that and the specification and seek resolution. Also read and comprehend the SDS for each hazardous product on the job and know the PPE required.

• Verify operation and accuracy and currency of calibration of all instruments required during the coating process.

• Verify readings of the ambient conditions and surface temperature.

• Verify the mixing and thinning of material being used and document that and the batch number.

• Verify material is properly stored.

• Verify dry fil thickness readings are reached on each coat, along with verifying the holiday detection, shore D hardness, and adhesion (X Cuts) tests are acceptable. EDUCATION /CERTIFICATIONS
