QA/QC Engineer (Civil)

Durrat Al Tameer (DTG)

Al Jubail 2nd Industrial City

Follows inspection and test plans (ITP) and carries out the various stage inspections and tests.

Update and maintain various types of quality logs including (RFIs Log, 3rd party testing Log, Concrete compressive strength Testing Log, NCR/USR Log, IMIR Log...etc)

Prepares various reports and forwards to the QC Manager for further action.

Briefly explain quality requirements as per project specification and construction standards to concerned supervisor prior to start the activities by conducting Quality Tool Box (QTB).

Liaison with the Client's inspection and construction staff for intermediate and final acceptance of work.

Carries out vendor inspection of materials/equipment, when required and prepare necessary inspection reports.

Liaison with the (3rd) party inspection agency for assuring/witnessing the inspections and test activities.

Receiving Material as per delivery note, MTCs and supporting quality documents, to make sure it's from an approved source and in line with project specification.

Maintain a current knowledge with Standards such as SAES, SAMES, ASTM, ACI, BS etc. with respect to quality issues. Write inspection reports and initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) where required.
