ACADEMIC PROJECTS

Main project : Design and Fabrication of Automatic Tyre Inflation System Concept: The project aims to develop a system that always maintains air to the optimum level. The system works upon valves and pressure sensors which automatically detects the level of tyre pressure and when it goes below the standard limit the valve opens and refill the tyre thus enabling smooth drive. SEMINAR

Topic : Airless Tyres

Description: It emphasize on non-pneumatic tyres which run without the use of air as in the conventional tyres. These tyres make use of polyurethane made spokes in the place of air for shock absorption and bring on the smooth riding. The spokes deform to its original shape after the action. Even though many developments are done, these tyres have not yet been commercialised as the existing one as it seems unaffordable for the common people. Research is still going on to meet the necessities and makes the dream come true.

• Prakash Industries Limited Bangalore – The industry mainly emphasis on production of heavy vehicle body chassis.
