Summary
GPA: 3.74
I am currently finishing my last term pursuing a de- gree in Computer Science at Oregon State University. I am highly motivated and enjoy designing specialized solutions for software and programming problems.
I have demonstrated expertise in developing mod-
ern web applications with Node and Vue, with moder- ate experience working with React, Python, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform services. I am familiar withtest- ing frameworks and CI pipelines. My goal is a Software Engineer 1 role, working on a team of driven developers who value clean, testable code.
Experience
College of Engineering (Oregon State University) Corvallis OR, USA Peer Tutor - Computer Science Feb ’20 – Present
I hold scheduled group and one-on-one tutoring sessions that cover algorithms, data structures, discrete math, networking, kernel programming, and modern web development. The majority of my time is spent debugging students code and giving pointers on how to manage programming assignments. BRI Associates Portland OR, USA
Full-Stack Developer Intern Sept ’19 – June ’20
I designed and implemented, from the ground up, a messaging feature extension for a cloud application. The solution was primarily developed on the backend of a Express/Vue application. The core of the project was integrating Microsoft Teams via the Graph API into the existing messaging function. I routinely worked with NoSql databases, Azure Active Directory, Docker, Vue.js and Nodejs/Express. CDK Global Portland OR, USA
Software Engineer Intern June ’19 – Sept ’19
I designed and implemented a solution to fix a security hole in the ePayments component of an automotive services application. The solution was implemented as a micro-service backend with a React frontend. I used PHP, PostgreSQL, and Java/Spring-Boot framework. I wrote unit tests and fixed mutation tests using Mockito. Bamboo Build and Sonar CI/CD was regularly used for quality control and build testing. I tracked progress and issues using Jira and Confluence project management software. Pre-production testing was done using Docker. Openly Published Environmental Sensing Lab (Oregon State University) Corvallis OR, USA Software Developer March ’19 – Sept ’19
Contributed to an existing IoT Arduino Framework written in C++. I developed a Nodejs application for creating Arduino sketches in a No-Code interface. Attended weekly meetings withmultiple groups, collaborated on multiple software projects with a team of 4-5 people, and planned and made time estimates for various deadlines. Used Github and wiki software for project management and issue tracking.
